I am trying to use 2 2610s to bridge 2 buildings and have them both on the same subnet. Both 2610s are flashed with the latest firmware, 1.2.4.

In the main building (where my WAN connection is), I have a router which is configured as a DHCP server. I have set up a 2610 there configured as AP. I have reserved a static IP for that 2610, so it will do a DHCP request and obtain its IP and DNS info from the router.

On the remote end, the 2610 is configured as CB. All works fine, however, on the remote end, clients configured to obtain IP and DNS info from DHCP don't work -- they have to be hard-coded.

Is there a known problem with 2610's propagating DHCP info across the bridge, or am I doing something wrong?

thanks

Edit - Engenius support told me to downgrade to 1.1.15 -- and now wireless clients on the CB side get IP/DNS/gateway info properly. But not if they are hardwired into the 2610 CB! Should it be possible to do so?

use a static IP on the eoc-2610's only if you are holding a reservation in your router it may not issue any new address for the bridged clients.
